I’m immersed in another world when liquid DnB echoes through space. The music draws me in, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Growing up hearing this music through sci-fi movies and cyber-dystopian video games, these themes subconsciously emerged while creating this design.

Further theme direction is pulled from the late 90s and early 2000’s timeline — Prada’s S/S 1999 RTW collection, Hajime Sorayama’s “Space Travelers”, and other media I would see as a child. Design elements seen in collections from Mugler S/S 2021 RTW and Cecilie Bahnsen S/S 2024 RTW inspires the final design. Knit and woven technical fabrics are blended with symmetrical lines to bring the concept to life.
